Global Options (GO) Program

This program consolidates the programs that had previously gone by the names CAP, CCPED and Assisted Living.
The GO long term care system is designed to offer a variety of services for individuals who meet nursing home level of care needs. A person must meet the Medicaid financial eligibility and clinical health criteria to be eligible. Age requirements are over age 65 or disabled age 2l-64 years old.

Low Income Subsidy for Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage

Contains information on eligibility for the Low-Income Subsidy (also called "Extra Help") available under the Medicare Part D prescription drug program. It includes information on those who are automatically deemed eligible, as well as those who must apply to be determined eligible.

Medicaid

Medicaid is a Federal Medical Assistance Program administered by the state of NJ for the elderly or disabled and for those in financial need. Medicaid will pay for certain services not covered by Medicare and also provides coverage when Medicare is used up. People approved for SSI automatically receive Medicaid.

Medically Needy Special

Medicaid Program Designed to assist residents with astronomical medical bills, who are not eligible for Medicaid, to receive medical care and services

New Jersey Care

This program offers assistance to the aged, blind, and disabled. If you are eligible, you could receive complete Medicaid coverage and also have your monthly Medicare Part B premium paid for.

Qualified Medicare Beneficiary Program (QMB)

Beneficiary Program (QMB) This program helps to pay the Medicare Part B premium, deductibles and coinsurance amount for those who are entitled to Medicare Part A and whose annual income is at or below the national poverty level and whose resources are very limited.

Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary Program (SLMB)

For persons entitled to Medicare Part A and whose annual incomes are slightly higher than the national poverty level. This program pays only the Medicare Part B premium.
