Coping with Aging Parents

Wednesday, May 30th, 7:15pm

Care-giving for aging parents and loved ones can impact us both emotionally and physically. Some of us are still raising our children or helping our grandchildren, while trying to assist elderly parents and assure they are getting proper care. Do you feel overwhelmed with the responsibility of caring for your elderly family? This program will provide you with the support you deserve, creating a safe and open environment to discuss your personal experience.

The program is led by Tara Arhakos, a Licensed Professional Counselor through the state of New Jersey and a National Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors. She has worked at various non-profit agencies and has experience with clients in the adult and adolescent populations, ranging from those experiencing mood or anxiety disorders, relationship or self-esteem issues, post-traumatic stress disorder and other disorders.
